Coast Pet Care Charitable Trust

Wouldn't it be wonderful if there was no need for our service? Sadly there are more unwanted pets than there are people to love them!

Coast Pet Care Charitable Trust is currently a volunteer led animal charity focused on desexing and microchipping domestic pets. We used to focus on rescue but ultimately this is bottom of the cliff work and we were constantly seeking foster homes until we realised we should focus on the real issue - unwanted domestic pets being born.
A bequest for Coast Pet Care Charitable Trust would be used for the following
- operational expenses relating to community desexing and microchipping. Currently we are 100% volunteer run – we have a committee and volunteers that staff our ‘Caring 4 Paws’ retail shop.
The purpose of the retail shop is to fund our desexing clinic. The Caring4Paws shop is located at 2181 East Coast Road, Silverdale. At those premises are the shop and the shell of a desexing clinic that we are currently fund raising towards surgical equipment for desexing.
So we think a bequest that could help with operational expenses would be very helpful.
Our current operational expenses are paying for the surgeries to be done at ordinary vet clinics. By the end of 2019, we hope our operational expenses will be expenses relating to our own clinic – surgical supplies, vets, nursing staff etc. The clinic is built but does not have equipment yet.
Our second bequest dream would be property. We have future plans to develop our services. We could use a property for
• an old folks home for unwanted elderly domestic animals [rather than dying in the pound]
• a centre for rehoming rescue animals
The location of the property is flexible.

If an option was suitable [i.e. zoning, distance from neighbours, etc] we would use the property as is and develop it for above purposes.
If its location was unsuitable, we could sell it to purchase a suitable property.
